Celebrating Grace!
What a great weekend God has in store for Grace Church and friends! Between special events and Sunday morning, the Spirit is working and will be present. The fun begins Saturday evening with a delicious Meatloaf Supper Fundraiser running from 5:00-7:00 PM in our Fellowship Hall, serving until 6:30 PM. Menu includes mouth-watering meatloaf with topping, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, dinner roll, hot and cold beverages, and an assortment of desserts. No reservations necessary. No set cost. Generous donations of all sizes are encouraged as the meal serves as a fundraiser for our General Fund.
We are currently behind in giving to the General Fund by $5,828 year-to-date. This vital fund allows the ministry of Grace Church to carry on, supporting things as general operating expenses, utilities, kitchen supplies, office supplies, internet service, education ministry, youth ministries, outreach ministries, worship ministries, and pastor’s salary. Please consider a generous gift to help us get back on track with budget. Know that every size gift is appreciated and will be blessed by God.
At 7:00 PM, our very own “Spirit of Grace” Praise Band will provide a Concert of Worship and testimony in our sanctuary. Let us lift the praises and lift our hearts as we give God credit for His goodness, grace, and favor in our lives, and the life of Grace Church. We’ll sing some of our favorite worship songs with a few testimonies and sharing “sprinkled in” along the way by band members. Join us following the meal. Be inspired. Be touched. Be healed. May we worship God in spirit & in truth.
On Sunday morning, we continue our focus on witness and outreach with a message entitled, “Keeping in Step,” about Philip and the Ethiopian based on Acts 8:26-40. Together we’ll consider this story and identify three practical ways we can all keep in step with the Spirit of God for a positive, impactful witness in our world. This is a message you will not want to miss. God has something to share with you this Sunday. Please join us and be encouraged and revived in your spirit and soul.
Traditional worship begins at 9:00 AM. Contemporary worship begins at 10:45 AM. Both services feature the same biblical message, heart-felt worship, warm friends, and the healing presence of the Spirit in our midst. A nursery and Busy Bags are provided for children. Refreshments will be served between services. The Discovery Class will meet at 10:05 AM in the education wing for inquirers. Men will gather for a prayer meeting between services. Visitors and guests are expected.
It’s going to be another Spirit-filled weekend at Grace Church. It’s an opportunity for all to experience food, friendship, fund-raising, and faith-raising. Will you be present?
