Holy, Holy, Holy

One of the things I like to do, and especially during my summer vacation, is to explore beautiful places and national parks.  If you know me, you know that I love visiting Hawaii.  It’s gorgeous … the mountains, the lush foliage, the palm trees, sandy beaches, perfect weather, and sunsets over the Pacific Ocean!  In recent years, I’ve had the opportunity to also visit the Badlands, the Black Hills, Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Tetons, the Smoky Mountains, and Michigan’s UP.

There’s something deeply inspiring about the purity of God’s beautiful creation.  Perhaps you have also had the opportunity to visit some wonderful places.  Maybe you have also enjoyed spectacular views, pristine national parks, sandy beaches, a visit to Pine Lake, a hike at Backbone State Park, or simply a walk down the trails at George Wyth Park.  For me, it’s a spiritual and healing experience.  God is there!  Isaiah was right: “The whole earth is full of God’s glory!”

So what do God’s purity, holiness, and glory along with the beauty of creation have to do with Lent?  That is a question I invite you to discover an answer for this coming Sunday, April 30, at Grace Church!  My message “Holy, Holey, Wholly” will take us through the gospel message of Jesus Christ and lead us to a place of surrender before the Holy One.  Get ready to be amazed, inspired, and touched by God this Sunday.  Please plan to join us and to also bring your loved ones.

Worship begins at 10:00 AM with a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary choruses.  People of all ages and from all walks of life are invited.  We even have a nursery for little ones along with a Children’s Church.  The worship will touch your soul.  The message will inspire your heart.  People will warmly welcome you.  And, all will be touched by the healing presence of the Holy Spirit in our midst.  Newcomers are expected.  Don’t miss your blessing this Sunday at Grace Church!
