The Divine Presence

Do you ever feel alone in the world?  Have you ever felt like no one understands you – no one ‘gets you’?  Probably we all have at one time or another.  This world can be a big, vast, lonely, and impersonal place.  Some days we wonder whether anyone notices us.  Would anyone even know if I suddenly disappeared?  I think those who are single and find themselves alone sometimes ask these questions.  But anyone can feel lonely.  You can feel lonely in the midst of a marriage, a family, friends, or even a crowd.

The truth is: You are never alone!  Jesus has promised to walk with us always.  Only in Christianity do we posit a God who takes up residence in the lives of believers.  It’s an amazing and comforting reality.  We all want to know that our lives count.  We all yearn for significance.  We long for connection.  We need companionship.  Thankfully, God gives us these things through a personal relationship with the living Jesus who is constantly with us, in us, and around us.  He goes before you; is in you; and never leaves you.

This Sunday’s message focuses on the Divine presence.  How does the divine presence of Jesus and His Spirit in your life benefit you?  What does it mean that God is present in your life?  What is God doing for me?  How can knowing God is with me comfort me?  Join us Sunday to find out!  Traditional worship begins at 9:00 AM.  Contemporary worship begins at 10:45 AM.  A nursery space is provided at both services.  Refreshments will be served between services.  Join us with your family and friends.  Be blessed!
