All Creations Testifies
“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen,
being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” - Romans 1:20
What a joy to be back from my vacation, including time spent in the beautiful city of San Francisco and surrounding area! No, I didn’t leave my heart in San Francisco. Instead, I’m bringing home lots of stories and pictures for you to enjoy this coming Sunday. The picture above was taken at Muir Woods of some of the tallest trees on earth – the towering Red Woods that can exceed 300 feet tall! When you see and experience such beauty and majesty in nature, how can anyone say, “There is no God.”?!
The Apostle Paul wondered the same thing. In fact, he felt that creation and the skies were always testifying to the existence and glory of God. To deny this obvious fact, is to suppress the very Truth of God itself. In keeping with this theme, I invite you to join me this coming Sunday as I begin a brand new sermon series on Truth. Never before has American society been at such a loss for the truth. Truth today is twisted, distorted, ignored, denied, and suppressed – all to our own detriment and deadly results.
This Sunday, I will draw on experiences from my recent vacation and share with you three reasons why Truth is so important in a message I call, “Truth or Consequences.” It’s going to be an excellent series and I sincerely hope that you and loved ones will join us. We’ll meet at 10:00 AM for a combined and musically blended worship service which will also be posted online later in the day. I look forward to seeing you and your family again. Let us rejoice as we prepare our hearts to worship God in truth this Sunday!
