The Return of Christ

One of the key teachings of the Bible and tenets of our faith is that Jesus is returning to earth “to judge the living and the dead.”  There are differing views about what the return of Jesus will be like.  Will there be a rapture?  Will he establish a literal throne in Jerusalem?  Will the return of Christ be a secret or public event?  What will happen to those who have already died?  What happens to those of us who are still living at that time?  Is Jesus’ return imminent?  Will it be a good day, or a terrible day?

If you’ve ever wondered about any or all of those questions, this Sunday’s message, “When Jesus Returns,” is just for you!  In it, you’ll hear some straight-forward biblical teaching based on 1 Thessalonians 4 and 5 highlighting five things that will happen at the return of Christ.  It’s a message of truth, comfort, and encouragement to all.  As Paul says, let us not grieve like those who have no hope.  Truth is:  We do have hope!  Join us Sunday with your friends and family members to learn more and be inspired!

Traditional worship begins at 9:00 AM and contemporary worship begins at 10:45 AM.  Both services feature the same biblical message, heart-felt worship, warm friends, and the healing presence of the Holy Spirit in our midst.  A Nursery and Busy Bags are provided for children.  Refreshments will be provided for all between services in our Fellowship Hall.  We’ll also recognize veterans in honor of Veteran’s Day this weekend.   It’s going to be another Spirit-filled Sunday at Grace Church.  Please plan to join us!
