Come, Holy Spirit!
This Sunday, May 23, is one of the most exciting Sunday’s of the year! It’s Pentecost Sunday – the day in which God poured out His Spirit upon the Church and her early leaders. It’s an amazing story recorded in Acts 2. How is it that people were declaring the wonders of God in foreign languages which they have never spoken before? How could it be that this mighty rushing wind was stirring their hearts and lives with the power of God? Heaven is coming loose! Things are breaking apart! What the heck is happening?!
Join us Sunday to discover three “good news” things that the gift of the Holy Spirit means for all of us today! Want more power of the Spirit in your life? Feeling like you could use some refreshing? Then, this Sunday’s message and service is just for you! I’ll conclude the message with three practical ways we can all enjoy more of the Spirit in our lives and also in Grace Church. It’s going to be a great message of encouragement for all. I trust you and your loved ones will be present!
Traditional worship begins at 9:00 AM, featuring some of the great hymns of our faith. Contemporary worship begins at 10:45 AM with worship music led by our “Spirit of Grace” praise band. Both services feature the same inspirational message, lively worship, warm friends, and the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in our midst. If you can’t join us in person, you can watch the video later in the day through our web site. It’s going to be a great Sunday. Please consider inviting a friend to join us!
Together in Christ,
Pastor Dave Van Netten
