Finding God in Hawaii

Have you ever wondered where God is?  Perhaps you’ve had times in your life when you cried out to God for help, but He seemed far away and non-responsive.  I think we all have had that experience at times.   Which is why when you do “find God” someplace – when you see Him move in your life – it’s even more powerful and precious.  My recent vacation to Hawaii was one of those times for me.  A time when God showed up and surprised me in countless ways.  Do you long to find God’s refreshing touch?

Thankfully, you don’t have to travel to Hawaii to find God.  God is present everywhere.  Psalm 139:8-10 says: “If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.”  The fact is: God is with you right now, and wants to refresh your heart and renew your soul.  God is always good.  He can be found.  His lovingkindness will revitalize your life!

This Sunday, I will share five blessings from my recent Hawaii trip which point to the goodness of God.  My hope is that my sharing and pictures of Hawaii inspire you to rediscover God’s goodness and grace also.  Our combined service begins at 10:00 AM, featuring a blend of traditional and contemporary music, including a special solo by me.  A nursery space is provided along with Busy Bags for children.  Friends and newcomers are always welcome.  Join us Sunday to find God’s refreshing in your life!
