Stories from the Seats

For those who travel U.S. highways, it’s said we have two seasons:  Winter and Road Construction!  If you do a lot of driving or are heading out of town for a summer road trip, you know this to be true.  You’ll often be slowed down by road signs that say “Men at Work.”  But the good news is: God is also at work!  In fact there is never a time when God is not working.  He’s working in your life, in others, in our church, in our community, in our nation, and in the world right now and all year long!

Last Sunday I shared with you how I saw God working throughout my recent vacation to Hawaii.  Now, it’s your turn!  This Sunday will be a special time of sharing and “stories from the seats” as congregants are invited to share how they see God at work.  What story will you share?  How do you see God at work these days?  What are you thankful for?  In lieu of a typical sermon, please be invited to share a brief story, a thanksgiving, a praise, or a testimony this Sunday morning as we encourage one another.

Our combined and musically blended worship service begins at 10:00 AM.  We’ll sing a some hymns along with contemporary music led by our praise band.  A nursery space is provided along with Busy Bags for children who wish to remain in the sanctuary.  Our time together will feature heart-felt sharing, lively worship, warm friends, and the healing presence of the Holy Spirit in our midst.  God wants to meet YOU at Grace Church this Sunday morning.  Will you be present to meet Him?  Please join us!
