For All Who Would Come
One of the most amazing things about the Kingdom of God is that it is open to all who would come. You don’t need a passport or a visa to get in. You just need a humble heart and a little bit of faith in Jesus, the Son of God. Those who approach God in humility and with open hearts are welcomed into the family of God and can partake in His Kingdom blessings. This means everybody – the rich, the poor, the powerful, the weak, the popular, the outcast, the traitor, the betrayer, the righteous, and the sinner!
As we continue our study of Mark’s Gospel this Sunday, February 6, we see that “Kingdom Kindness” extends to the most unlikely of people. Discover three incredible things Jesus does to express his amazing love for those who are least likely as he encounters and heals two unique individuals. And then, praise God that the kindness of Jesus still extends to ordinary sinners like you and me today too. Share in the sacrament of Holy Communion this Sunday and experience the forgiveness and freedom of God’s grace in your life!
Traditional worship begins at 9:00 AM. Contemporary worship begins at 10:45 AM. Both services feature the same inspiring message, the sharing of Holy Communion served safely through individually wrapped elements, heart-felt worship, warm friends, and the healing presence of the Holy Spirit in our midst. Nursery and Busy Bags are available for children. Refreshments will be served between services in the Fellowship Hall. And a video of the second service will be posted to our web site by mid-afternoon.
It’s going to be another Spirit-filled Sunday at Grace Church. And, I sincerely hope that you and your loved ones will join us. Perhaps you or someone you know has been feeling a bit down or discouraged lately. Perhaps you or someone you know has been feeling unlovable or like an outsider. Perhaps you or someone you know is in need of a healing touch of grace and forgiveness. This is your Sunday; bring your loved ones. The grace and power of God for healing and renewal is available for all who would come!
