Hope is Building!
As the growing crescendo of light intensifies with the lighting of one more candle each week, so too our hope and anticipation of Jesus grows more and more. We are getting a brighter picture now of the many blessings that the first and second comings of Jesus bring to believers. What Jesus inaugurates at his first coming is brought to fulfillment at his second. The Kingdom of God is coming to earth and begins already in the hearts of those who receive Jesus personally as their Savior and Lord.
This third Sunday of Advent, we continue our sermon series, Our Living Hope, with the message “Hope for the Lacking.” Do you ever feel impoverished? Whether it be materially or spiritually, there are times in life when we never seem to be completely satisfied. Times when we don’t quite have enough. Times when the budget doesn’t meet the bills. Times when food and resources are scarce. Times when we lack. And into our neediness and desperation Jesus speaks words of hope, life, and provision.
Please join us Sunday for an inspiring message of hope for all who have ever felt lacking in your life. May God reminds us as he did Abraham: The Lord provides! Traditional worship begins at 9:00 AM. Contemporary worship begins at 10:45 AM. Both services feature the same uplifting message, heart-felt worship, warm friends, and the healing presence of the Holy Spirit in our midst. A nursery and Busy Bags are also provided for children. And, refreshments will be served in the Fellowship Hall between services.
