Tell of His Wonderful Acts!

I recently took a vacation to the great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. What a joy to see the beauty of God’s creation through these beautiful mountains, streams, trees, rock formations, and wildlife such as the black bear playing in the stream right outside my hotel room’s lanai! Yet the drive there was marked with a few challenges. There was plenty of road construction and “Men at Work” signs to slow down for. Experienced travelers know, we have two seasons in the Midwest: Winter and Road Construction!

But those “Men at Work” signs made me think of something else … the fact that God is also at work. In fact, there is never a time when God is not working. Psalm 105:2 says: “Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.” And that is exactly what we are going to do this coming Sunday! In lieu of sermon from me, you are invited to tell of God at work in your life or in the lives of others or Grace Church. Maybe you have a testimony, an answer to prayer, or a brief story to share in honor of God’s working.

Please come prepared to share as we gather for a combined worship service, beginning at 10:00 AM this Sunday. Our music will be a blend of hymns and contemporary songs. A nursery space and Busy Bags are provided for children. The Holy Spirit is waiting to heal you. Warm friends are waiting to greet you. And, sharing God’s working among us will be the message! It’s going to be a great Sunday of inspiration. Plan to join us and bring a friend or family member with you. What a great morning it will be!
