What Happens in Vegas …

We’ve all heard the expression: “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!” I suppose that’s true for most people. But if you’re the pastor, everyone wants to know! So, it is with great joy that I share with you this Sunday, July 28, “what happened in Vegas.” God worked in amazing ways throughout my vacation, and I am eager to tell you about it. By the grace of God I survived extreme heat, took bus tours to national parks, saw amazing sights, took in some great shows, and stood firm in the grace of God.

Have you ever wondered if God would come through for you? Have you ever felt like you were traveling through your own “Death Valley?” Were you ever anxious about things, events, or the future? If so, Sunday’s message, “Comfort in Chaos,” based on Psalm 23, is just for you! Even in tough times, David trusted the Lord as his Shepherd. David soon discovered that God would protect, provide for, and preserve David’s life through hardship and trial. Thankfully, God will do the same for you!

Join us Sunday as I share stories and pictures from my vacation to the Southwest. Together we’ll see and hear how God inspired me through trips to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, and while exploring Las Vegas. Let’s meet for one combined worship service beginning at 10:00 AM. A Children’s Church and Nursery will be provided. All are welcome. Visitors expected. May the healing presence of the Holy Spirit touch your heart this Sunday!
