Who Was This Man?
Lots has been said and written about Jesus Christ down through the ages. Who was he? Was he just another religious guru? A good moral teacher? A mere Jewish rabbi? Or, could he have been (and is) something more? Apologist Josh McDowell said either Jesus was a liar, a lunatic, a legend, or truly the Lord he claimed to be. No person in all of human history has caused the stir, created as much debate, or impacted the world quite like Jesus. But perhaps the most important question is: Who is Jesus to you?
This Sunday, November 14, is a time to get back to basics and explore the person and work of Jesus in good gospel message! It is also a time to reach out and invite visitors and non-believing friends and family members. Together we will consider our fundamental and profound need for Jesus, and what he does for us. What a joy it is for me to highlight seven important and life-giving things Jesus does for those who believe! This Sunday’s message, “Why We Need Jesus,” will inspire, encourage, and evangelize all at the same time!
Traditional worship begins at 9:00 AM and contemporary worship begins at 10:45 AM. Both services feature the same biblical message, heart-felt worship, warm & welcoming friends, and the healing power and presence of the Holy Spirit in our midst. A nursery space and Busy Bags are available for children. Refreshments will be served for all in the Fellowship Hall between services. The Discovery Class will meet for our final session. And, a video of the service will be posted later in the day on YouTube and Facebook.
